The leader of St Kitts’ opposition People’s Action Movement (PAM), Lindsay Grant, has been re-elected to the post, despite reports of dissatisfaction with his performance.

Earlier this year there were calls for Mr Grant to step down, because of what some party members called ‘errors in judgement’.

However he was unopposed at Sunday’s leadership elections.

Mr Grant told BBC Caribbean the focus now is to prepare for the next general election.

PAM member, Glenroy Blanchette, was one of those who called for Mr Grant’s resignation.

He told BBC Caribbean that he still does not support Mr Grant as party leader.
