Great style does not require deep pockets. That is the tenet of Grandeur – The $1,000 Fashion Store that will officially open to the public on Wedneday March 31, 2010 with an opening party at the store’s location at Shop 9, Vision Plaza, 3a Central Avenue, Kingston 10.

Grandeur is the brainchild of fashion enthusiasts Tesi Johnson and Ricardo Barrett, who firmly believe that fashion should not cost a small fortune. So Grandeur was born – a retail outlet for trendy men’s and women’s apparel and accessories, with prices starting as low as JA$1,000 and denominated in multiples of a $1,000 up to a maximum of $4,000.

“Jamaicans tend to love fashion, but many of us operate on a budget that sometimes prevents us from indulging that love”, says Grandeur co-owner Tesi Johnson, “which is why we have searched the globe to find the trendiest pieces at the most reasonable prices to pass on to our clients”, she continues. So party-goers, professionals and everyone in between can maintain their style quotient and keep their finances in check by shopping at Grandeur.

The opening soiree will start at 5:00 p.m. and end at 8:00 p.m. during which guests are invited to browse the Grandeur inventory of high fashion, low-priced pieces, mingle and enjoy a drink to celebrate fashion. Thereafter, the store’s regular opening hours are 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Mondays to Thursdays and 10:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays.

The store is located within Kingston’s busy shopping hub off Constant Spring Road at Shop 9, Vision Plaza, 3a Central Avenue, Kingston 10
