There is so much that i can take in a day, and no more put seriously i think this one took the title for today.

I’ve just received news that former GOP Vice-President candidate Sarah Palin is the newest employee for Fox News.

Check by our team to team reveal that the appointment was true. Fox website stated, “2008 Republican vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin is joining Fox News as a contributor.”

The former Alaska governor, whose book, Going Rogue: An American Life, became a bestseller weeks before it was released and remains No. 2 on the New York Times bestseller list, has signed a multi-year deal to offer her political commentary and analysis across all Fox News platforms, including Fox Business Channel, FoxNews.com and Fox News Radio.

She will also participate in special event political programming for Fox Broadcasting.

“I am thrilled to be joining the great talent and management team at Fox News. It’s wonderful to be part of a place that so values fair and balanced news,” Palin said in a written release.

Palin will also host periodic episodes of Fox News Channel’s “Real American Stories,” a series exploring inspirational real-life tales of overcoming adversity throughout the American landscape that will debut in 2010.

“Governor Palin has captivated everyone on both sides of the political spectrum and we are excited to add her dynamic voice to the FOX News lineup,” said Bill Shine, executive vice president of programming at Fox News.

A posting on NBC had this to say:

Sarah Palin is taking her conservative message to Fox News.

An attorney for the former Alaska governor and Republican vice
presidential candidate says Palin will provide some type of
commentary for the cable network.

Palin is hugely popular with conservatives and has more than 1
million Facebook followers.

She stepped down as Alaska governor in July, 17 months before
the end of her first term in office. Her resignation came less than
a year after she vaulted to overnight fame as John McCain’s running
mate.

Palin worked part-time as a weekend sportscaster in the 1980s
for KTUU-TV in Anchorage.
